Finding an internship

CSEL connects students with a diverse set of organizations and leaders to help them: identify or clarify their interests; develop positive professional skill sets; gain confidence and leadership skills; gain a better understanding of course material; gain credit hours towards graduation; and gain a better understanding of their community.

Here is how it works…

Step 1: search for and secure an internship

Your first step is to find an internship. Search for CSEL sponsored opportunities below.

step 2: register for class credit

Once you secure an internship, you must sign up for class credit either through your major or minor program, or through a course provided by CSEL. The two choices through CSEL are POLS 491 and BUS ???.

Please meet with your academic advisor to discuss the best fit for you. You will receive enough internship hours for three course credits.

step 3: begin your internship

You are required to participate in a one-hour professionalism seminar hosted by CSEL at the start of your internship semester. You are then ready to start your internship!
